Close to all the historical and tourist sites in the Vendee:
the Puy du Fou, the Sèvre Valley, the Tiffauges Castle, the Chabotterie and major motorways, the A83 at 18km (Montaigu exit) and the A87 at 10km (Les Herbiers exit).
The Richerie Chateau is situated on a hill overlooking the point where the « Mal Pallu » stream flows into the « Grande Maine » river.
The site was fortified by the Romans who thus controlled the circulation on the ancient Saint Georges road. The Chateau is situated in the heart of the Vendée Bocage, with its mosaie of woodlands, grasslands and pastures.
The Chateau, build in the centre of a vast estate which borders the Grande Maine river for 1km800m and close to a lake, is a havenof peace appreciated by fishermen and nature lovers.
The Chateau and its outbuilding « The Wine Press », offer residents all the modern comforts.
